Summer Reading Program Virtual Kickoff Event

FSYF and Hemispheres Academy cordially invite you to our Summer Reading Program (SRP) kickoff event!   The SRP virtual launch – on Sunday, June 2nd at 11:00 AM Eastern Time - will feature a reading by and interview of EFM author Vida Gecas.  Her award-winning book tells the tale of a puppy found and adopted in West Africa by an embassy staffer who introduces the sweet pup to life in an embassy.  One lucky participant will win a copy of her book and we have some other fun questions and games in store.  To participate in this special virtual launch, register here!  

To register your children for the SRP, visit www.fsyf.org and click on the link under Upcoming Events.  The SRP reading period begins on June 1st and ends on August 31st.  Readers will select a metric (books, pages, or time read) and will track their progress using a provided reading log.  Children between the ages of pre-K and high school are welcome to participate.  All participants are eligible for different prizes and drawings.
