FSYF offers many programs for youth and families who are living in the DC area. Many families who are posted to DC are here either on temporary assignment or returning from many years abroad. In either case, living in the area can seem transitional or even foreign.
FSYF works to ease the transition for students and families returning to the US. From a Welcome Back Family Picnic to youth re-entry programs, regular teen programming, student sponsors, evacuation programs, and web-based resources, FSYF provides a variety of opportunities for children and families to feel connected and welcomed in the DC area.
