FSYF invites repatriating middle school students to join us for a workshop designed to help empower them with tools for their re-entry process.  We'll brainstorm strategies for adjusting to life in American middle schools, the new reality they will be facing due to COVID and the coping skills needed for a successful year.  There will be a panel of students to share their personal experiences. The teen workshop will be led by Megan Norton.

While students are in their session, parents  are invited to participate in a workshop moderated by Dr. Constantina Kass.  The parent session will focus on ways parents can support, connect and communicate with their child during the re-entry process.  Some practical suggestions will be discussed to help combat the factors that TCK’s often struggle with during re-entry.  Parents will also have an opportunity to speak with other parents about re-entry issues.

Zoom details will be sent upon registration.

         Date: Wednesday, September 16

Time: 7:00pm- 8:30pm

Location:  Zoom.  Parents and Teen will need to enter the meeting on separate computers so we can send them into a break out room!

Fees:     FSYF Members:  Free

FSYF Non Members:  $20 per student

Participation is free for all parents.
