Co-Sponsored by the Department of State's Office of Overseas Schools and FSYF, this discussion will include a panel of Foreign Service youth sharing insights about their world language learning experiences in international schools, their transition back to a U.S. language program or another international school's language program, their opinions of their language courses compared to other academic courses, and how international language teachers can enhance their programs.
A number of world language teachers from State Department sponsored schools will be in attendance.
FS parents and students are welcome to attend.
FSYF is looking for bi-lingual or multi-lingual FS middle school and high school students to participate in the panel discussion. We will be happy to provide a letter to them (upon request) certifying their volunteer hours.
"I really enjoyed learning the story of each panelist's experience about learning foreign language"
