FSYF Welcome Back Family Picnic and 5K Fun Run

Description:  Join FSYF for one of our most popular events of the year! The Welcome Back Picnic, and added new this year 5K Fun Run, is a great opportunity to make some new friends and reconnect with old ones. Welcome back families returning from overseas and welcome families new to the Foreign Service. This event is free of charge and you do not need to be a FSYF member to attend. Join us for a fun afternoon of classic picnic games, face painting, good food and great company! 

3-4pm: 5K Fun Run

4-6:30pm: Welcome Back Picnic

Food:  We'll provide the burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers and beverages, but please bring a side dish or dessert to share.  

Teens:  Teens who are interested in participating and earning some volunteer hours are encouraged to help organize the 5K run and help with games for the younger attendees. Please provide their name and contact information on the registration form.
