Join the nationally recognized test prep experts from Top Score Education for a free SAT student workshop. Charlotte Halverson from Top Score will provide students with an overview of the SAT and review best practices for preparation for this exam. All students will leave the workshop with concrete resources and a clear plan for self-study before this spring's SATs. This workshop is ideal for any junior or senior who has yet to take the SAT or wants to retake this exam. Sophomores who are beginning to look forward to the college preparation and application process will also benefit from joining. Learning Objectives: Build community among FSYF students around the world. Provide FSYF students with a high-level overview of the SAT. Equip FSYF students with targeted resources and a clear plan for self-study before the spring 2024 SATs. About the Presenter: Charlotte Gosnell Halverson is the Top Score North Carolina Director and a seasoned SAT tutor. A Duke graduate with a certificate from the Columbia Publishing Course held at Oxford University, Charlotte, has assisted numerous students in their SAT preparation. She is an engaging and responsive tutor, dedicated to providing all students with the strategies and content knowledge necessary to build confidence, think critically, and excel throughout the test-taking process. In her free time, you'll find Charlotte perusing used bookstores, enjoying Duke basketball games (preferably in Cameron Indoor Stadium), and taking leisurely walks with her mini Australian Shepherd.
