Paying for College

Tuitions are skyrocketing and paying for college is a serious concern for many families.  Below are both some additional scholarship opportunities and basic information on financial aid.

FSYF Academic Merit Award
FSYF is pleased to offer two academic merit award (scholarships) for college-bound seniors and gap year students, who intend to attend college in the following Fall.  FSYF offers a $2,000 one-time award and a $1,000 one-time award.  Applicants must be FSYF Members by the time they submit their application.

For DC Residents:  DC Tuition Assistance Grant (DC TAG)

The DC TAG expands higher education choices for District residents by providing grants of up to $10,000 toward the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition at public four-year colleges and universities throughout the US, Guam and Puerto Rico.
