- The schooling options at your post are limited or non-existent at your child's level,
- You are not satisfied with the schooling options at your post, and homeschooling is not an option.

The Office of Overseas Schools maintains lists outlining the schooling options at post as well as those posts that have an allowance for boarding schools. If you have questions about overseas schools, make sure to contact the Regional Education Officer (REO) for the relevant region. There is more detailed information on the intranet.
